What happens on the call

  1. You tell me what you are carrying

Share as much or as little as you like. You do not need to have it figured out, and you do not need to prepare anything.

  2. I explain how I work

I use Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting alongside ordinary conversation, at a pace that never pushes you past what you are ready to tell.

  3. We see if it is a good fit

We talk through whether California telehealth or in-person sessions in Redding suit you, and I tell you whether I have availability.

The consult is a short conversation to see if we are a good match. It is not a therapy session. If I am not the right fit, I will do my best to point you toward someone who is.

This call is not for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.

Who I work with

Adults, especially midlife women, who have spent years being the strong one and are ready to set some of it down. People often come to me carrying:

Where I see clients

In person at Attune Center for Healing in Redding, serving Anderson, Shasta Lake, Palo Cedro, Cottonwood, Enterprise, and the rest of Shasta County.

By secure video for anyone living in California. You need to be in California at the time of your session.

Not ready to call yet?

That is completely fine. You can get a feel for how I think and work first. Read the free guide to Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting, or browse the journal at your own pace.

Questions about the consult

Is the consult really free?

Yes. The 15-minute consult is free, and there is no obligation to book a session afterward.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. You can simply tell me, in your own words, what has brought you here. If it helps, jot down any questions about insurance, scheduling, or how sessions work.

What if I am not sure I am ready for therapy?

That is a common place to start, and the consult is a low-pressure way to find out. You will not be asked to share more than you are comfortable sharing.

Can we meet by video from anywhere in California?

Yes, as long as you are physically in California at the time of your session. I also see people in person in Redding.

Are you a licensed therapist?

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. I work under the clinical supervision of Christina Whitney, LMFT #111050, at Attune Center for Healing, a program of Northern California Family Counseling and Wellness Center.
